This is Ernie's son posting this last entry. Ernie has died at 91 on 3/11/21 - his lungs had been weakening over the last year. As a researcher and medical doctor who is very scientific and fact based, Ernie believed firmly in his post and that, for him, steriods, as described in his post, was responsible for curing him or at least permanently arresting his condition so many years ago. He always said this could only work if taken very early when symptoms were just starting.
This will be the last post on my father's behalf. I have no medical training and can not advise regarding ALS so I would not respond to comments.
